What’s the best text-translation web service you know?

I want to convert some English words to German, to impress this really cool girl. But I don’t have a translation book handy, nor do I want to buy one.
I heard there are some on the web, and I’m curious to know which ones you think are best.
I also would like a website-translation service too. There are some Spanish sites that I don’t quite understand with my rudimentary high-school Spanish skills, so a translator would be nice too.
Any good answer gets picked!

I know one that most people haven’t heard of yet : Windows Live Translator.
There’s Bablefish, Google Translator, and tons more, but I find Live Translator to be the best.
Live Translator has a very simplistic UI, converts up to 25 ways, and offers web page translations as well.
I find the translated text to be better than that of Google’s translator. It appears to get more words done the right way, instead of some nonsense statement coming from Google’s.
Plus, surprisingly, I find Live Translator to be much more quicker as well.
Live Translator also does a bang-up job on web sites.
Live Translator allows you to see a side-by-side view of the original webpage, and the new webpage which Google does not.
You have 4 different layouts with horizontal/vertical side-by-side, or translated/original text overlay on highlighted words.
Web page translations, does take a slightly bit longer, but a few seconds wouldn’t kill you, would it?
Google also copied the translated/original text overlay I see.
So give Live Translator a try - it’s the best there is:
